Please take a look at this magnificent example of branding of a dessert store. Theurel & Thomas is one of the first pâtisseries in Mexico specialized in French macarons, a popular French dessert. Anagrama, took the right approach by create the store’s branding around the product itself – colorful and delightful French cookies.
White color was selected as a base for creating a contrast with the bright colors of the macarons.White in this case has also created a light, spacious almost heavenly feeling in the space itself. The designer was trying to create “an enlightened space with an exclusivity and elegant atmosphere.” I personally love the down lighting from under the traditional furniture! What an interesting touch to make the furniture to appear almost floating in the air.
But the branding didn’t just stop in the interior itself. The two of the macarons’ colors: cyan and magenta, were selected to be used on all the marketing materials and even on the clothes of the store workers.
Why cyan and magenta colors? They unobtrusively relate to the red and blue of the French national flag.
All the boxes and packaging also followed the branding colors and elegance.
