Today I would love to share this innovative eyewear store design located in Venice, CA. The design concept was inspired from the curves of a sand dunes landscape in combination with a skateboard park’s simple construction.
The bent plywood is being cut our to create interesting shapes and to function as shelving on the walls. The warm color of the plywood adds cozy contrast to the industrial concrete floor and unfinished ceiling.
The overall look shows innovation in creative and at the same time affordable design. A new character was created for the store with the use of practically only one material – plywood. Is it a new trend to use an unfinished plywood? Take a look how creatively it’s being used in this office.
This stylish interior design of concept fashion boutique and eyewear gallery store was designed and fabricated by Ilan Dei Studio, which is located very close to the store.
