The Pantone Institute has announced its 2014 color of the year – Radiant Orchid Color.  “PANTONE 17-5641 Emerald, served as a symbol of growth, renewal and prosperity, Radiant Orchid reaches across the color wheel to intrigue the eye and spark the imagination,” said Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute®. “An invitation to innovation, Radiant Orchid encourages expanded creativity and originality, which is increasingly valued in today’s society.”

Fashion designers already started working in this hue believing that Radiant Orchid’s rosy undertones radiate on the skin, producing a healthy glow when worn by both men and women.  The color is definitely beautiful in any form and shape.

But today let’s take a look how we can use the color of 2014 in our interiors.  You can always start slow by introducing the new color as an accent to your already existing interior.  In the example below you can see an art piece that transformed this room.
