This burger joint, in Oslo, Norway, does not quite fit in any standard restaurant or club category and it does not look like a burger restaurant. With the low-ceiling and only 460 square feet in size the wood-paneled space looks very cozy. This functional small space is a place for parties, hosting intimate events with DJs and late night gatherings.
The bright colors, playful furniture and the shapes picked by the designer make the place resemble a play ground or can it be a skating park?
Illegal Burger was established by three partners, Emil Hesselberg, a well-known local restaurateur and owner of the city’s top dance club, The Villa at Møller Gata 25, and two passionate cooks with a skating background, Mike Henriksen and Jostein Kristiansen.
